ARMS has sold extremely well since its launch back in June. As such, it should come as no surprise that Nintendo will continue to support the game with brand new content. ARMS received its first update not too long ago which added Max Brass as a playable character, Headlock Mode for Versus, and various balance changes for fighters and unique ARMS.
In ARMS’ Reddit page, a user by the name of KoopaStarRoad unveiled possible data mined file names that could pertain hints to possible new fighters coming down the pipeline. Each fighter in ARMS is referenced with a code name like Ribbon and DNA are Ribbon Girl and Helix respectively. Here is the current list of code names from the data mine:

These are based on the launch version of the game and several of these files have been omitted or changed with recent updates. Notice that there are at least 9 code names on the list, does that mean we will have 9 more fighters coming to ARMS? Games will usually have unused files within the game code so this may or may not lead to direct spoilers for new fighters but only time will tell.
