Leaks happen all the time before a major release, and Destiny 2 is the latest victim. Destiny 2’s trophy listing has been leaked on a site called Exophase, listing a gold trophy for PS4 titled, “Belly of the Beast”, which is unlocked by completing the first raid called, “Leviathan.”
reported that website PCGamesN listed a Grimoire card that mentions Leviathan, hinting that it might be a close ally of the Traveler. Bungie has said before that Destiny 2 will feature the Light instead of the Darkness as its focus for the title, so the Leviathan could potentially be an important ally for the series.
An image that appeared on Imgur showed concept art of floating debris that appears to be swallowed up by some large creature or ship. The beta for Destiny 2 is taking place on PC right now, and the main game releases on Xbox One, PS4 on Sep. 6, 2017, while the PC release comes out on Oct. 24.
Gamescom revealed a new Crucible game mode, Survival, and players were given a chance to explore the vast European Dead Zone. Destiny 2 will also feature side-quests known as, “Adventures.”
