Xbox dropped significant announcements this week by revealing the price and official release date for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Xbox Series X will retail for $499.99, while the Xbox Series S will retail for $299.99. Both consoles will release later this year on November 10th. The pre-order for both systems will be available on September 22nd.
Xbox Series S
The Xbox Series S has been rumored for some time, following back to August with a controller box leak and the recent reports from the site Windows Central. The Xbox Series S will feature a slimmer frame than that of the Series X while having a white color instead of black. While the Series S is cheaper, it will be less powerful than the Series X. Series S version will be all digital with no disc drive and boasting a GPU of 4 Teraflops with up to 120 FPS and 1440p resolution with 4K upscaling.
The Xbox Series X will feature a more powerful console with native 4K support at 120 FPS with 12 Teraflops and 16GB GDDR6 of RAM. The console was revealed back on December 12th during the 2019 Game Awards. However, the price or the release date was not revealed until today (September 9th).

Xbox All-Access and Game Pass Ultimate Plan
Both Consoles will be backward compatible and will utilize the Xbox All-Access and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Xbox All-Access will also feature a monthly plan starting at $24.99/a month (for 24 months with no upfront cost) that includes an Xbox Series Console plus Game Pass Ultimate. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will also include EA Play with a more expansive library of games.
