World of Warcraft: Brewfest is Back with New Cosmetic Rewards

World of Warcraft’s Brewfest event is back, and it’s brewing up excitement among players once again. This beloved in-game holiday, inspired by the real-world Oktoberfest in Bavaria, is not only a celebration of all things ale and ale-related but also a prime opportunity for players to collect fantastic cosmetic rewards. In this year’s installment, Brewfest has introduced some brand-new items to the mix, including a Dragon riding mount saddle, making it a must-attend event for players of all levels.

A Toast to Brewfest

Brewfest in World of Warcraft is a time-honored tradition, offering players a unique experience filled with alcoholic activities, engaging quests, and a treasure trove of rewards. These rewards range from whimsical toys and loyal pets to awe-inspiring mounts and even an experience-enhancing buff. The festivities kicked off recently and will continue until October 6, providing players with ample time to join the merriment and reap the rewards.

Fresh Sips of Delight

While Brewfest veterans will recognize many of the event’s classic rewards, this year brings a delightful twist with some new additions. Among these is the Brew Barrel, a charming toy that allows players to hop on and take a short, exhilarating ride. Acquiring this fun item will set you back 200 Gold.

However, the real gem of this year’s Brewfest is the Brewfest Armor Dragonriding manuscript for the Renewed Proto-Drake. This exquisite brew-themed barding can be discovered in the coveted Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest, which drops from the formidable Coren Direbrew. The encounter with Coren Direbrew adds an exciting challenge to Brewfest and a chance to snag this exclusive customization for Dragonriding mounts.

Level 70 Players Get the VIP Treatment

Unfortunately, not all players will be able to access the highest-tier rewards. It appears that only level 70 players will receive Keg-Shaped Treasure Chests from the event. Lower-level characters will receive Keg-Shaped Treasure Boxes, which, while still offering rewards, do not contain sought-after items like the Great Brewfest Kodo, Swift Brewfest Ram, or the new Dragonflight Dragonriding mount customization. This departure from the usual holiday reward structure has stirred some discussions among the player community.

Additional Rewards and Activities

World of Warcraft’s Trading Post is also getting into the Brewfest spirit with a special offer. The Homebrewer’s Sampling Crest back piece can be found in September’s Trading Post catalog, available for 500 Trader’s Tender. Additionally, players can make significant progress toward completing their Traveler’s Log tasks for September by defeating Coren Direbrew once and collecting 600 Brewfest Prize Tokens, earning them 400 points – almost half of what’s needed for their monthly reward.

Wrapping Up

As the Brewfest festivities are in full swing, it’s an exciting time for players to immerse themselves in the world of Azeroth. For those looking to experience a touch of nostalgia, the arrival of the Fall of the Lich King update on October 10 promises even more adventures. With Brewfest running until just days before this update, players will have plenty of activities to keep them occupied in the lead-up to this highly anticipated event.

Both Retail and Classic WoW players are encouraged to head to Orgrimmar or Ironforge to participate in the revelry and lay claim to these fantastic rewards. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or just starting your journey, Brewfest in World of Warcraft offers something for everyone to enjoy. So, raise your tankards, don your finest brew-themed attire, and join in the merriment – Brewfest awaits!
