As children, we are given a set of rules to follow during school hours. This is not a problem for the majority of us, but there’s no doubt that we’ve all been guilty of cheating at one time or another — it’s a human thing to do. It is often how we survive personal or social situations. When it comes to the gaming world, things are far stricter than they are in real life. Certain games won’t allow any sort of hostile dialogue or any program that aids in a character’s chances to land successful hits. However, if you are a professional gamer, then you’re on even thinner ice than everyone else.
Jarvis Kaye Permabanned
Pro Fortnite player Jarvis Kaye, a member of eSports team FaZe, has been permabanned from the popular battle royale shooter. According to early reports, Kaye was found guilty of using an aimbot to help him secure more kills than normal. The above video shows Kaye explaining what happened with the ban and how he’s spent numerous hours playing before.
The terms of service to ensure they follow all rules. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never played an online shooter game that allowed anyone on their servers to use a cheat engine.
I’ve had many encounters on Fortnite with people using cheat engines to gain the upper hand. That being said, it’s even harder to feel any sympathy for a pro Fortnite player using those cheats. No matter what level of society you’re in, no one can escape the ban hammer. If you need a bot to help you hit targets in an online shooter, it might be better to just avoid them altogether.
