Pokémon Horizons: The Series English Dub Revealed – Trailer, Cast, and Exciting New Adventures Await!

That sounds exciting! The Pokémon Horizons: The Series anime has been announced to receive an English dub. During the Pokémon panel at San Diego Comic-Con, The Pokémon Company International revealed the English dub cast, a trailer, and a clip from the first episode. The dub cast includes Crispin Freeman as Friede and Ikue Ōtani as Captain Pikachu.

The anime features new dual protagonists named Liko and Roy. It incorporates elements from the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, introducing the Pokémon Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Additionally, the Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza appears in its Shiny form. The series also introduces new characters, Friede, who is a Pokémon professor, and Captain Pikachu, a Pokémon partner. These two will join Liko and Roy in battles.

The Pokémon Horizons anime premiered on April 14 with a one-hour special episode and airs on Fridays at 6:55 p.m. The series is directed by Saori Den, with Daiki Tomiyasu as the creative director and Dai Sato overseeing the series scripts. Tetsuo Yajima serves as the action director, Rei Yamazaki as the character designer, Kyōko Itō as the sub-character designer, Masafumi Mima as the sound director, and Conisch composing the music.

Fans of the Pokémon franchise can look forward to the English dub release “coming soon.”
