The Most Awaited Game of the Decade: Rockstar’s GTA VI

The release of GTA VI is near and we can’t be more excited about it! Rumor has it that the GTA VI after much internal deliberation by the Rockstar group will be released in 2024.

We all have gone through the motions, the excitement, and the thrill of waiting for our favorite game’s release. All of us have felt the dopamine rush through our veins, pushing us to pre-buy the game so we can play it for the very first time before everyone else.

So, we can discover new worlds, unearth new warriors, and experiment with the game world and the magic within it. Unless the game’s name is Kenshi, most of us gaming machines finish it within a week, and some extreme gamers within mere days of a new release. And then we all get sad, sad waiting for the next release or an update to make the game more interesting and exciting.

The wait can usually be years or even decades for some of the biggest names in the gaming industry. From Duke Nukem Forever and Diablo Three to Final Fantasy XV and GTA V we have all waited for our beloved games for decades and decades over.

But before we reveal all the secrets to you. Here is a sneak peek into the world of lag-free and low-ping gaming experience. We all have traveled this road before, working hard to reach a crucial point in a game or winning an online battle, where we are often left at the mercy of an unreliable internet connection that ultimately fails us to deliver the necessary goods for a satisfying win or reaching the next mission.

For the ultimate gaming experience, you need to make sure that there aren’t any technical difficulties that can get you kicked off from a good server permanently. Herein, a great option that is already quite popular within the gaming community is Xfinity Internet. With its fiber coaxial network and lightning-fast speeds, lag and ping rate would be dynamic of the past. To refresh your gaming experience, the Xfinity customer service team is available round the clock at your convenience.

Design & Legacy

Now coming back to the topic at hand, it has been almost 10 years since the release of the iconic GTA V, a game that is credited for revolutionizing modern gaming and bags the top 5 list of every gamer out there. Additionally, having sold 185 million units across platforms, it holds the record for the second-most-sold video game of all time. A cultural phenomenon of its time that is popular to this very day.

It is known for introducing features that are explored and copied by the gaming industry to this very day. Believe it or not, Assassin’s Creed was actually inspired by the GTA franchise in terms of open-world gameplay. Nevertheless, besides having a transformational impact on the gaming industry its overall impact was much much bigger.

GTA V was an immersive and sophisticated experience that was not only designed for the average teenager but also for mature audiences that required intricate details, storylines, and most of all freedom of exploration to simply do whatever you want. Above all the immersive experience was connected with real-world experience making it all the more familiar and believable.

GTA Online

The online mode is still raking numbers every day, posing a very pertinent question to the fans, is there still a need for GTA VI? Released in 2013, the online experience has gone through countless updates that still capture the imagination of the fans, and with every new update the fans keep coming back to their favorite pastime. In short, it was the real immersive interactive experience before the term even existed.

Sadly, the roaring success of GTA Online is directly responsible for the delay of GTA VI. However, this doesn’t give Rockstar an excuse as no matter how many millions the online mode brings in everywhere, a new release is necessary for the survival of any franchise. Many fans out there have been waiting for a single-player gaming experience for ages and all Rockstar has been doing is pouring resources on improving the online mode.

GTA VI Rumors & The Love of Open-World Gaming Experience

At its core, the love for open-world experiences lies in the single-player narratives that are totally different and unique than the one before. There is literally so much to discover, so much that we can do just because we can. Nothing beats the adventure of going off-storyline to feast on the intricate details of a real-world gaming engine, the carefree potential of our characters, and the off-track side missions that we all love and enjoy.

However, like with every big project out there the developers and publishers need to make sure they are perfect when they come out. Occasionally, the games can be half-baked like No Man’s Sky, Cyberpunk, and Battlefield 2042. But in most cases, the games are well worth the release.

People need to understand that there are many elements to a game. But what we have heard or seen so far looks quite promising. GTA developers are simply taking gaming engines and experiences to a whole other level. These are not definite but this is what we know so far:

Two Protagonist:

What can be a better slap on the critics for a game that was often criticized for its misogyny and sexist portrayal of women is actually bringing a female protagonist? Yes, you have heard it right. The game will have male and female protagonists. Some are also making a mind-boggling claim that the game will have two female protagonists.

Physics-Defying Gaming Engine:

Yes, you have heard it right. Rockstar Games is studying water physics to transform the way water behaves and interacts in a game world. With the introduction of swimming mechanics gamers would now be able to surf through Miami waves virtually. No wonder the game’s budget is two billion dollars.

A New Online Experience:

With such a gaming engine transformation the overall potential of the game is limitless. This would not only be a transformational leap forward as far as online or single-player experiences are concerned but maybe the breakthrough that the world of immersive gaming experiences needs.

Limited Availability:

The game will be limited to PC, Xbox Series, and PS5 only.

To Wrap it Up,

Rockstar Games’ record with single-player games is a notch above excellent. So, if the rumors are to be believed then in terms of immersive experiences, GTA VI will be the penultimate open-world game that will define the next era of gaming for years to come.
