Alola to Alola Event: A Farewell Tour of Pokemon GO’s Season of Alola

As the Season of Alola in Pokemon GO comes to a close, Trainers can partake in the Alola to Alola event, bidding farewell to the sunny Alola region. From now until Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, players can enjoy various event features including a Catch Challenge, event-themed Pokemon encounters, a unique Special Research story, and more.

Embrace the Catch Challenge and Event-Themed Pokemon

During the Alola to Alola event, Trainers can participate in the Catch Challenge, aiming to catch as many event-themed Pokemon as possible. These Pokemon include Alolan Rattata, Alolan Meowth, Alolan Exeggutor, Cubone, Rowlet, Litten, Popplio, Pikipek, and Yungoos. It’s a perfect opportunity to add these unique Alola region Pokemon to your collection before they become rarer.

Engage in Five-Star Raids with Legendary Guardian Deities

Throughout the event, all four of Alola’s Legendary guardian deities—Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini—will appear in five-star raids. Trainers can gather their friends and challenge these powerful Pokemon to add them to their teams. Don’t miss this chance to capture and battle alongside these legendary Alola guardians.

Celebrate Friends and Battle Opponents with Bonus Features

The Alola to Alola event also brings some exciting bonuses for Trainers. Players will receive double the Stardust for opening Gifts from friends, making it a great time to strengthen bonds and show appreciation to fellow trainers. Additionally, evolving Cubone into an Alolan Marowak during the event will grant the Pokemon the special Charged Attack Shadow Bone, offering a strategic advantage in battles.

Moreover, Trainers can play in style with new avatar items available for purchase in the in-game shop. Show off your love for Alola with the Rowlet backpack, Litten backpack, and Popplio backpack, featuring these adorable Alolan Pokemon.

Go Island Hopping with the Alola to Alola Special Research Story

Experience a unique adventure as you embark on the Alola to Alola Special Research story in Pokemon GO. Inspired by the radiant islands of Alola, Trainers have the opportunity to choose from four different paths: Melemele Island, Akala Island, Ula’ula Island, and Poni Island. Each path offers specific tasks and rewards.

Melemele Island: Gifts, Snapshots, and More

If you’re interested in sending Gifts to friends and taking snapshots, the Melemele Island path is perfect for you. Complete tasks related to these social challenges and you’ll earn two Poffins, a Lure Module, four Lucky Eggs, and even encounter Alolan
