Palworld’s Latest Patch Addresses Capture Chance Bug and Breeding Farm Issue

If you’re an avid Palworld player, you might remember the recent debacle involving Lifmunk Effigies, items intended to boost your chances of capturing Pals. Instead of enhancing capture odds, these items seemed to do the opposite, leaving players scratching their heads and recalculating probabilities. However, fear not, as Pocketpair has swooped in with a fix in the form of the 0.1.4.1 patch released just yesterday.

According to Pocketpair, this update resolves the issue where Lifmunk Effigies failed to increase capture probabilities despite displaying otherwise. It turns out there was an internal processing bug causing the discrepancy, but now, your Effigies should work as intended. No more silently sabotaging your capturing endeavors!

In addition to addressing the Lifmunk Effigy hiccup, Pocketpair has tackled several other issues plaguing the Palworld community. One notable fix prevents a game crash and save data corruption when the total number of captured Pals by the guild reaches around 7,000. Moreover, any save data previously affected by this bug should now load properly post-patch.

Now, onto the peculiarly phrased yet crucial fix: “Fixed an issue where if a Pal that was manually assigned to a breeding farm went to sleep, it would not wake up forever.” This gentle wording, reminiscent of a parent breaking the news about a beloved pet, refers to the frustrating scenario where Pals seemed to disappear when assigned to a breeding farm. Rest assured, your Pals should no longer face an eternal slumber when designated for breeding duties.

For those eager for the nitty-gritty details, here are the comprehensive patch notes:
