The upcoming side-scrolling sensation, Ninja Slayer Neo-Saitama in Flames, promises an adrenaline-fueled experience as it delves into the heart-pounding “high-speed ninja action” of the manga’s gripping “Neo-Saitama in Flames” arc. Developed by Skeleton Crew Studio, the game immerses players into the vividly crafted world inspired by the 14 volumes of the manga’s inaugural series.

Prepare to confront formidable foes like Sonic Boom and Cloud Buster, as teased on the game’s website, each presenting unique challenges and intensifying the excitement of the gameplay.

Scheduled for a summer launch on Steam, Ninja Slayer: Neo-Saitama Enjō will offer multilingual support, catering to a diverse global audience. Players can expect to enjoy the game in Japanese, English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Ninja Slayer, originally serialized in Kadokawa’s Comp Ace magazine starting in 2013, quickly captivated audiences with its dynamic narrative set in the neon-lit sprawl of Neo Saitama. As the manga’s popularity surged, it transitioned to Comptiq in September 2016, culminating in its conclusion in December 2017 with the publication of its 14th and final volume.

Notably, the Ninja Slayer saga found its origins in a unique online phenomenon, where Japanese “translators” Yū Honda and Leika Sugi purportedly translated the work of American authors “Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morzez” on Twitter. This unconventional genesis eventually led to the publication of the first Japanese-translated volume in print by Enterbrain in September 2012.

Following its immense success, Ninja Slayer expanded its universe with a 26-episode net anime series premiering in April 2015. Funimation brought the series to North American audiences with both subtitled and dubbed versions, later releasing it on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in December 2012.

As the Ninja Slayer phenomenon continues to captivate audiences across various mediums, the forthcoming game adaptation promises to deliver an electrifying experience, inviting players to step into the shoes of a ninja and embark on an unforgettable adventure. Get ready to unleash your inner warrior this summer on Steam with Ninja Slayer: Neo-Saitama Enjō.
