Necrozma Taking Over in New Pokémon Games Necrozma’s taking over Alola in the latest trailer for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Today’s Nintendo Direct gave us a brand new trailer for the latest instalment of Pokémon. The two minute trailer began centred around Necrozma, Solgaleo, and Lunala. According to the trailer and depending on your version of the game, Necrozma captures and absorbs Solgaleo (US) or Lunala (UM). These two new forms are called Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma. They possess Solgaleo’s and Lunala’s respective moves, Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam.

The trailer shows details regarding Ultra Sun’s and Ultra Moon’s plot, including footage of Solgaleo fighting against Necrozma at the Altar of the Sunne. After that the player character is shown at a beach-side area, before the scene changes to the player dancing with a Pikachu.

More information on Dusk Form Lycanroc has also been unveiled. Early purchase Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon players will receive a special Rockruff. Its move set is dependent on your version of the game: in Ultra Sun, Rockruff will know Fire Fang, while in Ultra Moon it will come with Thunder Fang. It is distributed at Level 10 and will be holding a Focus Sash. It confirms that Rockruff with the ability Own Tempo – currently locked to this distribution – are the only ones able to evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc between 17:00 and 17:59, starting at Level 25.

In addition to this, Lycanroc has been given a unique Z-Move called Splintered Stormshards. This move requires Lycanroc to know Stone Edge and has the secondary effect of removing Terrain effects.

Finally, two new Ultra Beasts have been revealed, code named UB Assembly (UM) and UB Burst (US). No more information is currently known but we will bring more as it comes.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are scheduled for an international release on November 17th. Will you be getting them? Let us at Culture of Gaming know below.
