Exciting news for One-Punch Man fans! The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of ONE and YĆ«suke Murata’s beloved manga dropped a brand new trailer, along with details on the staff and returning cast for the highly anticipated third season.

Once again, we’ll witness the unstoppable Saitama, voiced by the talented Makoto Furukawa, and the formidable Garou, portrayed by Hikaru Midorikawa. Adding to the mix is Daisuke Namikawa, reprising his role as Dr. Genus, who also narrates the trailer.

Fans will be delighted to know that J.C. Staff, known for their work on the second season, will be returning to animate this installment. It’s worth noting that Madhouse handled the animation duties for the first season.

The creative team behind the scenes remains stellar, with Chikashi Kubota, known for works like Corpse Princess: Aka and FLCL Progressive, returning as character designer alongside Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryƍsuke Shirakawa. Tomohiro Suzuki, the mastermind behind ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept., resumes his role as series composer, while Makoto Miyazaki, known for his work on Triage X and Dragon Crisis!, returns to compose the music.

Accompanying this announcement is a striking hero visual featuring our protagonist, Saitama, designed by the talented Kuroda.

The journey of One-Punch Man began with its first anime season airing in Japan back in 2015, followed by international streaming via platforms like Viz Media and Daisuki. The English dub premiered on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in 2016, and Viz Media released the first season on home video in North America.

The second season kicked off with a television special in April 2019, followed by subsequent episodes. Viz Media secured the master license for the second season, providing streaming and broadcasting rights across various regions. Fans in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa caught the series via platforms like Crunchyroll and Hulu.

The manga, originally serialized on Shueisha’s “Tonari no Young Jump” website in 2012, continues to captivate readers worldwide. Viz Media publishes the series digitally in Weekly Shonen Jump and in print format.

Excitement peaked in June 2022 when Deadline reported that Sony Pictures is enlisting Justin Lin to helm a live-action adaptation of the manga, signaling the enduring popularity and widespread appeal of One-Punch Man beyond its animated iterations.
