Xbox Live Gold subscribers can now claim both of the Xbox free Games with Gold games for November 2022. Every month, anyone signed up for Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is treated to a batch of free games to claim. For many years, this included two games from the Xbox 360 era and two games from the Xbox One era, but a recent change has made it so subscribers only get two Xbox One games each month instead.
Microsoft finally brought its Xbox 360 free games to an end earlier this year, sending the program out with a bang by giving away Portal 2 for free to subscribers. Two free Xbox One games have been given away to subscribers each month since then, with their releases staggered throughout the month. One Xbox free Games with Gold game is given away at the start of the month, while another is made free in the middle of the month. And so is the case with the Xbox free Games with Gold games for November 2022.
Right now, Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can claim Praetorians HD Remaster as well as Dead End Job. Praetorians HD Remaster is free for subscribers to claim until November 30, and it has been available since November 1. Dead End Job was added to the free games lineup on November 16, and it will be up for grabs until December 15.

For those unfamiliar with the games, Praetorians HD Remaster is the remastered version of a 2003 strategy game. The original version of the game didn’t exactly light the industry on fire, but it certainly has its fans. Fans of the strategy genre that have an Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass Ultimate subscription handy can now check it out for free if they claim it before the month is up.
Dead End Job, meanwhile, is a co-op twin-stick shooter that uses procedurally generated environments. Dead End Job earned mixed reviews when it first launched in 2019, but co-op enthusiasts may still want to check it out.
Microsoft’s attention has primarily been on its Xbox Game Pass subscription service, but some subscribers to Game Pass may not even realize that they are able to claim the monthly free games as well. The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription combines the benefits of Xbox Live Gold with Game Pass, so subscribers to the highest tier should be sure to claim their free games every month.
