Blizzard’s Latest Diablo 4 Event Takes a Sinister Turn: “Donate 666 Quarts of Blood” and Win a PC Drenched in Human Blood

Prepare yourselves, gamers, for Blizzard has conjured up a diabolical challenge for Diablo 4 players that’ll send chills down your spine. Move over, Megan Fox, because this latest stunt might just top everything we’ve seen before. Brace yourselves, for the screams of the damned are echoing louder than ever before.

In a startling announcement last week, Blizzard urged its dedicated fanbase to participate in what they ominously dubbed the “blood harvest”. The deal? Players willing to part with their life’s essence – yes, their very blood – would earn coveted in-game rewards for Diablo 4. Here’s the sinister deal: until November 20, players in the US aged 18 and above can prove their blood donation by providing a confirmation email from their chosen donation site. The donated blood is then meticulously tallied, creating a grotesque yet oddly mesmerizing animated blood fountain. Lovely, isn’t it?

According to the official FAQ on the website, “All players that own [Diablo 4] will receive the in-game rewards once the tiered milestones are reached.” So even if you’re not ready to spill your vital fluids for the demonic queen Lilith, you’ll still benefit from the sacrifices of your fellow players. But what’s the ultimate goal, you ask? Blizzard aims to collect a staggering 666 quarts of blood. To put that into perspective, the average human body holds about 6 quarts of blood, and a standard blood donation comprises just 0.6 quarts. That’s a truly unsettling amount of blood.

Already, the community has achieved the first milestone: a collection of bloodpetal cosmetics. Among them is the Bloodpetal Heart, a creation so eerie that encountering a magic-wielding goth brandishing an actual human heart might prompt most of us to surrender on the spot. Or perhaps, depending on the day, even propose marriage. Such is the surreal world of Diablo 4.
