Sony has consistently opposed all offers made by Microsoft, and Cheng criticized the company for it. This time, however, she directed her criticism specifically towards Jim Ryan, the head of Sony Interactive Entertainment. Cheng shared a tweet about Sony’s denial of Microsoft’s commitments regarding Call of Duty, asking why. In response, she cited Ryan’s statement before the European Commission that he doesn’t want a new Call of Duty deal, he just wants to block the merger between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard.
