This page explains what file formats we accept, what makes files print cleanly, and how custom / decklist-style orders work (when available on the product page).

What we support (overview)
Depending on the product you’re ordering, we may support one or more of the following submission types:
1) Upload-ready card images (you provide the final front images)
2) Print-ready PDFs (you provide a multi-card print layout)
3) Decklist-style submissions (you provide a list; we format it when the product supports it)
4) Custom requests (tokens, labels, simple text edits, etc., if offered)
If you don’t see an upload field or instructions on the product page, contact us:

Accepted file formats
Best options (recommended)
- PDF (print-ready, single or multi-page)
- PNG (high quality, good for flat art and text)
Also accepted
- JPG/JPEG (works, but avoid heavy compression)
If you’re unsure, PDF or PNG is the safest bet.
File quality guidelines (how to avoid blurry prints)
Resolution
For best results, files should be effectively 300 DPI at final print size.
If you don’t use DPI settings, here’s the simple rule:
- Do not upscale small images and expect them to look sharp.
Text size
If your card includes custom text, keep it comfortably readable. Very tiny rules text may print, but it won’t be pleasant to read at the table.
Color
Use standard color (what you see on screen), and expect minor print variation. If you need a specific color match, contact us first — print is not the same as your monitor.
Bleed and safe area (the #1 reason designs get “trimmed wrong”)
Physical cutting is never pixel-perfect, so designs should account for trimming.
Recommended bleed
Add at least 0.125 in (1/8″) of bleed on all sides (art extends past the cut line).
Recommended safe area
Keep important text, icons, and borders inside a safe margin (at least 0.10 in from the edge).
Border warning
Borders make tiny cut shifts obvious. If you want the most forgiving results:
- prefer full-bleed / borderless designs
Naming and organization (helps us avoid mistakes)
If you upload multiple files:
- Use clear names like:
01-CardName.png,02-CardName.png, etc. - Avoid ambiguous names like:
final_final_v7.png
For large orders, consider grouping files by deck or set.
Decklist-style orders (when available)
Some products may allow you to submit a decklist instead of individual images.
Common accepted list formats
- Plain text, one card per line, for example:
1 Lightning Bolt2 Counterspell - CSV with columns like
Quantity, Name
If your list includes special versions (set, collector number, language, specific art), include that info clearly — otherwise we assume a standard/default selection where applicable.
What we don’t validate
Unless stated on the product page, we generally do not guarantee:
- deck legality
- format legality
- tournament legality
(And our proxies are not for sanctioned events regardless.)

Custom requests (what’s possible)
If the product page supports customization, we can often help with:
- simple text changes (labels, names, “proxy” markings, etc.)
- token-style cards
- consistent styling across a set
If you’re asking for something unusual, email us before ordering:

Content rules (important)
By submitting files or requesting specific content, you agree that:
- your order is for casual play and playtesting (if proxy/playtest items)
- you will not use items for deception or resale as authentic
- you have the rights/permission to use any submitted content (or you accept responsibility for it)
We may refuse or cancel orders we believe are intended for fraud or misleading use.

If your files print poorly (what happens)
If a problem is caused by our production (defect, wrong item, damage), we’ll make it right:
https://cultureofgaming.com/quality-guarantee-reprints/
If a problem is caused by file issues (low resolution, missing bleed, tiny text, incorrect exports), we’ll still try to help — but it may not qualify for a free reprint.
If you’re unsure, email us before ordering. We’ll tell you what’s likely to work:
