It’s that time of the month again, Xbox unveils their four new Games With Gold for August. Next month will add a wide variety of games including Slime Rancher, Trials Fusion, Bayonetta and Red Faction: Armageddon.
Slime Rancher – Xbox One
It’s a first-person farming game where you have to take care of these cute looking slime creatures. There’s crafting and building mechanics to manage how effective you are at farming.
It’s still in early access, but officially launches August 1 so Xbox Gold members will get it for free right away up until August 31.
Trials Fusion – Xbox One
The incredibly popular motorcycle platformer that runs you through difficult point A to point B trails will finally be free. It’s definitely great game to give away for Games With Gold considering its popularity and critical acclaim.
Trials Fusion will officially be free between August 16 – September 15.
Bayonetta – Xbox 360
The witch in black that uses her hair for clothes needs no introduction, but one will be provided anyway. For those who don’t know, Bayonetta is a hack and slash stylish epic and a spiritual successor to the Devil May Cry series.
It’s known for its absurdly erotic cutscenes and over the top action sequences, a must have for this August. Bayonetta will be available for free between August 1 – 15.
Armageddon takes place 50 years after Guerrilla and focuses on the planet being made uninhabitable by the antagonist. You play as Alec Mason’s grandson fighting yet another revolution in this third-person cover based shooter.
Red Faction: Armageddon will be available for free between August 16 – 31.
