One of the most eagerly anticipated moments of the year for professional footballers and fans alike is the release of Electronic Arts FIFA series.

On September 25th, the latest installment of arguably the biggest sporting gaming franchise in the World hits the shelves once again with all eyes on who has achieved what figures in their FIFA rankings.

Over the years this has caused many a professional to take to Social Media in their disbelief at their rankings and as the grand unveiling draws near, we take a look at what ratings some of the Tottenham players should receive.

Harry Kane – FIFA 18 Rating 86

It is hard to argue against anything other than a top rating for the Spurs super striker.

With a standard rating of 86 last time out, Kane is undoubtedly in line for a significant boost.

No one scored more goals than Kane throughout 2017 and the 25-year-old broke his August hoodoo having netted twice in the eighth month of the year which is something he had never achieved before.

Rating Kane should receive – 92

Kieran Trippier – FIFA 18 Rating 78

Trippier had the summer of a lifetime playing a crucial role in the Three Lions reaching the last four of the World Cup.

The 27-year-old has firmly established himself in Pochettino’s Spurs ‘project’ and is vital to the club’s domestic success.

Already on the scoresheet this season, Trippier is proving something of a dead ball specialist meaning he should be the clubs highest rating defender in FIFA 19.

Rating Trippier should receive – 82

Harry Winks – FIFA 18 Rating 72

Midfielder Harry Winks spent a vast amount of time out injured last season but Poch has made it clear that the Englishman has a bright future at the club.

Already the 22-year-old has featured in three of four Spurs’ opening Premier League games and although due to injury it is likely Winks’ rating will stay relatively the same, 72 is a poor reflection of what Winks will bring to Spurs this season.

Rating Winks should receive – 78

Hugo Lloris – FIFA 18 Rating 88

Goalkeeper and Spurs captain Hugo Lloris enters FIFA 19 as a World Cup winner.

For that reason alone, the 31-year-old deserves a slight boost to his rankings even if he has committed the odd error already this season.

Lloris has constantly proved he is one of the world’s best keepers and Tottenham have done well to hold onto the Frenchman since 2012.

Rating Lloris should receive – 90
