What is The Sega Genesis Flashback?

AtGames will be releasing the Sega Genesis Flashback, packed with 85 titles, this September! The console will have the ability to play Genesis cartridges.

With the release of the NES Classic last holiday and the announcement of the SNES Classic coming this October, retro gaming fans have been reeling. To take advantage of this sudden interest in retro console releases, AtGames will be releasing the Sega Genesis Flashback console this September.

AtGames, which has released retro consoles in the past such as the Atari Flashback and ColecoVision Flashback, acquired licensing from Sega to jam pack 85 titles into one console. The titles include some titles from Genesis, Master System, Game Gear and a few “remade” titles.

The console itself, which include 2 controllers, features 720p HD output and also the same dimensions of the original 16-bit Genesis console. Not only that, but you can also play your original MegaDrive and Genesis cartridges! The system will retail for $80.
