The Last of Us Part II Leaks, With Potentially Major Spoilers

It seems like The Last of Us Part II can’t catch a break, as some major leaks have surfaced and spread across the Internet, revealing some important plot points. A collection of videos on YouTube were uploaded (and have since been taken down) that heavily spoiled story-related content for the highly-anticipated sequel, including clips of important cutscenes. These clips have now spread to various forums and social media sites in the form of re-uploads.

Neither Sony nor developer Naughty Dog have made any kind of statement on the leaks, so it’s still possible that they could be false. However, based on the quality of the work shown and the notable voices used for the characters, it appears that these clips are very likely legitimate.

This news comes weeks after Naughty Dog‘s announcement delaying The Last of Us Part II indefinitely due to issues with supply chains caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Naughty Dog reassured us in the same announcement that development of the game was close to finished, which only lends more credibility to the leaks.
