Splatoon 2 Special Demo comes with Free Online Trial and 20% Off Full Game

Splatoon 2 is a game where players can play as both a kid and a squid. In fact, 8 million players are enjoying the game online. Both kids and squids can battle in competitive modes in order to level up and play dress up. Starting today Nintendo is releasing the Splatoon 2 Special Demo for those with a Nintendo Switch Online Membership until Monday, March 25.

An Online Demo

That’s right players can check out the 4-on-4 Turf War battles along with Salmon Run. If players want to show off their skills online, League Battle and Ranked Battle are for them. In turf war you cover the map with your team’s ink color to take over the battlefield. In Salmon Run, inklings fight waves of Salmonids in order to collect their precious eggs. You can also customize your inkling with different pieces of clothing and hairstyles to become the coolest kid around. Though if players need firepower, they can show off their strength along with a wide array of weapons to splat your enemies with.

After downloading the Splatoon 2 Special Demo in the eShop, you’ll receive an email with a Nintendo eShop code to activate a seven-day free trial for Nintendo Switch Online. Additionally, you can get a 20 percent discount if the full game is bought during the Special Demo period. Progress made during the demo period will be transferred to the full game so you can be the squid kid you started with.

Performance Lab® - Not all supplements are the same

The demo Splatoon 2 Special demo begins on Tuesday, March 19 and will end on Monday, March 25.
