Rocksteady Announces The Batman Arkham Collection Physical Release

Rocksteady announces a physical release of The Batman Arkham Collection and it will include Batman Return To Arkham and Batman Arkham Knight.

Rocksteady has recently announced a physical release for The Batman Arkham Collection. The collection will include 3 of the 4 games in the series. Batman Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight. This is the second bundle of Arkham games that Rocksteady have released this generation, that doesn’t include Arkham Origins. Although Arkham Origins has received the second lowest Metacritic rating compared to the other entries, many fans still love it.

Batman Arkham Origins was developed by WB Games Montreal in 2013, the prequel has many connections to the Rocksteady trilogy, and although it is unconfirmed to be canon, presumably it is. So why isn’t it included in the collection? Neither WB Games or Rocksteady Games have published an official statement on the topic, so it is unknown. However, through speculation fans believe that the reason Arkham Origins isn’t included in the collection is that it isn’t apart of the overall story arc.
