PS Plus in May brings Dark Souls Remastered and Dying Light, perhaps…
Just a few days before the PS Plus free games announcement, we may have seen a leak of what we’ll be getting.
So, before we all get too excited about what we’ll be playing whilst locked down at home, it’s worth noting what actually happened. A ResetEra user by the name Adookah uploaded to the forum with a post titled ‘Rumoured PS Plus Games for May’. When you open the post you’re greeted with this image.
It’s the classic approach. A slightly lower resolution ‘leaked’ image. Whilst PS Plus leaks aren’t uncommon we need to remember that April’s PS Plus leak came from the official source. Someone uploaded the whole trailer too early. Sadly though PlayStation Access has nothing to do with this one.
So can it be trusted? In short… No. Despite the image looking fairly legit there’s nothing to say that this comes from an official source. With peoples photoshop skills these days this could quite easily be a mock-up. Is that to say people aren’t up in arms about it? Definitely not. After last month when we were gifted Uncharted 4 and Dirt Rally 2.0, these games would be an incredible follow up.
The Wait For PS Plus
Don’t worry though, you won’t have to wait too long to find out what we’re actually going to get in May. If the track record stands, we should be finding out as soon as this Wednesday. We were recently speculating as to what we might get. It’s safe to say most of our guesses were either conservative or, if this leak is to be believed, completely off the mark.

Fancy being kept up to date on more news, like the developers of Ty the Tasmanian tiger wanting to make a sequel. Then you can find all our breaking news here. We’ve also just done a deep dive into the tabletop origins of Cyberpunk 2077 if you want to check that out. As always, thanks for reading COG!
