The Pokémon company released all new info regarding their upcoming mobile releases on May, 28, in a press conference. Three new mobile titles and one Switch title were confirmed. The Pokémon company have titled these mobile apps, Pokémon Home, Pokémon Sleep, and Pokémon Masters. These new apps will be released towards the end of 2019 and mid 2020 on iOS and Android devices. The Pokémon Company also announced a Pokémon: Detective Pikachu sequel and a clothing service!

Pokémon Home

The Pokémon Home app is a cloud based app that allows players to access their Pokémon from several games. Players can trade their Pokémon from within the app. “Pokémon HOME connects with Pokémon Bank as well as Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games, and also Pokémon GO.” Pokemon Home is said to “launch in early 2020 on iOS and Android devices as well as Nintendo Switch.”

Pokémon Sleep

Pokémon Sleep is a support app for Pokemon GO and will help players play the game at night. The app will work when the player wears a Pokémon GO Plus + bracelet  “A new device based on the Pokémon GO Plus device uses an embedded accelerometer to track your time sleeping and sends this information to your smartphone via Bluetooth.” Like Pokémon Home, Pokémon Sleep will launch in 2020 for mobile devices.

Pokémon Masters

The last app Pokémon announced is actually a game! Pokemon Masters, the game “lets players experience a new type of Pokémon battling on the go…”. The game will be made in a collaboration between The Pokemon company and DeNA. Pokémon Masters will cameo several fan favourite characters from past Pokémon games. “Gameplay has been optimized for smart devices, allowing anyone to casually pick it up and play.” The press conference also announced that more news would come in June! Pokémon Masters will release this this year.

One Mysterious Detective

The Pokemon company also announced a new instalment to Pokémon: Detective Pikachu! The game will be a direct sequel and conclusion to the previous Detective Pikachu title, released on 3DS in March, 2018. No release date has been announced and several “details of the game are still a mystery…”

Tsunekazu Ishihara, president of The Pokémon Company, announced a new Pokémon related service may be coming to here in the west. This new service, currently called Pokémon Shirts will be a made to order Pokémon shirt shop. The shirt designs will feature the original 151 Pokémon that released well over 20 years ago! The Pokémon company didn’t announce any release dates or prices regarding the service. Any new information will be posted to Pokemon.com.
