The smash hit cooperative cooking game by Team17 and Ghost Town Games, Overcooked, will be coming to Nintendo Switch later this week. Overcooked: Special Edition will be released on July 27 on the Nintendo eShop at a price of $19.99 and will include The Last Morsel and Festive Seasoning add-on content. Taken directly from the press release, the cooking game will include:
- – 44 campaign levels which can be played solo or couch co-op with up to 4 players
- – 9 versus levels to play head to head locally with either 2 or 4 player
- – 22 different chefs to play as. Choose a human, raccoon, dinosaur, French bulldog, robot, or even a reindeer in your quest for culinary greatness!
- – A range of crazy kitchens to play across with different recipes to master – cook soup, burritos, burgers, fish and chips, and more!
As described on the eShop page, “Journey through a variety of cruel and unusual kitchens on a quest to become master chefs capable of conquering an ancient edible evil which plagues the land. Play solo or engage in classic, chaotic couch co-op for up to four players in both co-operative and competitive challenge modes. Overcooked: Special Edition features the original game, plus all of the downloadable content. With HD rumble integration, you can feel every chop through a tomato and the slosh of soup in a pot.”
