Planning to tackle the notoriously difficult Legends' Quest for more OSRS gold? Here are all the things you need to know, from requirements to rewards!

Introduction to the Old School Runescape Legends Quest

Old School Runescape players are quite familiar with the uphill challenge that is presented by the famous Legends’ Quest. If you are looking to tackle this mammoth journey in search of glory and bountiful OSRS Gold (Runescape Gold) then there are a few things that you will probably want to be aware of. So, if you’d like to know more about this task, be sure to read on!

What is the Legends’ Quest in OSRS?

In the Legends’ Quest, players are instructed to go and explore the Kharazi Jungle by Guildmaster Radimus Erkle. The jungle can be found south of Karamja, and plays host to one of the more lengthy quests within the game.

Interestingly, the Legends’ Quest was the 50th Quest to be released and was the last to do so prior to the RuneScape 2 beta going up. It was also the first quest out of the many to have been rated as Master, so you know that you have a challenge ahead of you.

What are Requirements to do the Legends’ Quest?

Such is the size of the quest that you would probably expect to have several requirements to take it on. Firstly, you must have completed the following quests: Family Crest, Heroes’ Quest, Shield of Arrav, Lost City, Merlin’s Crystal, Dragon Slayer, Shilo Village, Jungle Potion, Druidic Ritual, Underground Pass, Biohazard, Plague City and finally, the Waterfall Quest.

These are essentially the only requirements that you need in order to do the Legends’ Quest. However, it is essential that you have certain skill points if you want to be able to overcome it. Before attempting, you should make sure you are at least level 50 in Strength, Smithing, Thieving, Agility, Woodcutting, and Crafting. Meanwhile, your Herblore should be sitting at around this number, as should your Prayer, though there is a bit more room for movement here so if they are slightly under 50 you should be fine. Your Mining and Magic should be your highest stats, so try and get them over 50.

There are a few runes that you will need to take with you also, so make sure that you have 2 Law runes, as well as a Soul, Mind and Earth rune.

How Long Does it Take to Complete the Legends’ Quest?

This is perhaps the most difficult question to answer and the said difficulty doesn’t just apply to the Legends’ Quest. Ultimately, the time it takes to complete a quest is completely subjective and depends entirely on the individual player. You may have seen reports from fansites that this quest is a very long one indeed, and it potentially could be if you go into it unprepared.

However, if you have taken into consideration the skill requirements above, and pack the correct items then there should be no reason that you can’t complete the quest within 2-3 hours!

What Rewards Will I Get For Completing the Legends’ Quest?

If you are curious as to what you will receive for all your hard work in overcoming the Legends’ Quest, then you’ll be pleased to know that there are a few decent rewards awaiting you. For beating it, you will receive 4 Quest Points, as well as 7,650XP to be spent on four skills of your choice. You will also gain access to the Legends’ Guild, which includes a shop where you can purchase the famous Cape of Legends. Completing the quest will also allow you to wield the Dragon SQ Shield.

Afterward, if you want to regain access to the Kharazi Jungle, then you will find that there is now a shortcut to it via a vine, though you will need to be at level 79 Agility in order to use it.

What Should I Do After The Legends’ Quest?

Once again, this is dependent entirely on who you are as a player and the progress that you have made elsewhere. But as far as what quests require you to have completed the Legends’ Quest, you have a choice between Dragon Slayer II and Recipe for Disaster/Freeing Sir Amik Varze.

It is worth noting that the latter quest out of these two only requires you to have started the Legends’ Quest, whereas the former will require you to have completed it. Whichever one you choose, they are both prestigious quests and well worth your time completing, making Legends’ Quest an essential part of your overall journey.

Now that you have an idea of what to expect from the Legends’ Quest, you are ready to shell out some OSRS Gold (Runescape Gold) to get your required items, level up your skills, and head deep into the jungle where a monstrous challenge awaits you.
