After its initial request for applications last month, Nintendo has begun informing chosen players of its beta test for the Mario Kart Tour mobile app. The company opened test applications for Android users in Japan and America “in order to improve the quality of the game” for its Summer 2019 release.
Reports show that Japanese applicants began receiving acceptance emails from Nintendo stating not to share content of the game online. Naturally, American applicants have also began obtaining emails earlier today, with more likely to come within the next day.
We currently know little about Mario Kart Tour despite its upcoming debut. As the beta will run from May 22nd to June 4th, we expect to hear more soon. Perhaps footage will appear at Nintendo’s E3 presentation? Maybe the game will have its own Direct? Only time will tell.
