The ToeJam and & Earl series is bringing back 1991 funk in the new game: ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! HumaNature Studios announced the game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It’s a nice addition to the 2019 gaming roster with its funkadelic and laid-back tone.

There was exciting news for fans of the series earlier today. Macaulay Culkin, the famous actor and musician, will be HumaNature Studios’ Executive Producer of ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!
HumaNature Studios knows that Culkin is a huge fan of the franchise, because of a Reddit “Ask Me Anything.” There, Culkin mentioned that the original 1991 Sega Genesis game ToeJam & Earl is his favorite game of all time. He even tweeted that he’d rather play this beloved game than watch the 2018 Oscars.
Here's some things I'm doing instead of watching the #oscars

The development of ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! will be the debut for Bunny Ears Games for Culkin and his team. Because the actor has fond memories with the series, fans hope that the team will do everything they can to appease them. Greg Johnson, founder of HumaNature Studios, describes the new game as a 90’s style blast from the past. Johnson said: “Macaulya Culkin, star of the ‘90s classic Home Alone, is an Uber Fan of the ToeJam games. He totally gets the vibe and humor of the new game, and his involvement has made the game even crazier and more fun”.
Hopefully Macaulay Culkin and his team will be able to put the finishing touches to make this game enjoyable for everybody – just as it was in 1991.
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! is releasing on March 1, 2019, for all consoles, as well as on PC/Mac via Steam for $19.99.
