If you are an Xbox Insider then you have an access to the new light mode and dark mode. This new feature arrives along with the new Xbox dashboard features which were revealed in August.
What this new feature allows is the switch of the type of menus. Dark mode is what current players have with a gray background. Light mode, on the other hand, features a white background giving a more lively feel. Below, you can check out Gamespot’s preview of the light mode.
While this option is only available for testers, it will be an option for when it arrives with the new dashboard later on. The new dashboard will offer more customization for users so you can access games and applications the way you want. Users will also be able to customize their homes screens. If you have a game you play often then you can make sure that games are always at the ready. Or even if you have a friend you want to invite to a party immediately, you can make sure they are front and center.
