Jump Force DLC Character Released, Remaining Fighters Revealed

The titular 3D anime fighting game Jump Force might not have quite the impact of last year’s Dragon Ball FighterZ, but Bandai Namco continues to update it with regular content. Just today, they announced the remaining DLC cast. Among the newcomers to the roster are characters from already-represented anime like Dragon Ball Z and Bleach. The full list is below:

  • Biscuit Krueger (Hunter X Hunter)
  • Majin Buu (Dragon Ball Z)
  • Madara Uchiha (Naruto)
  • Hitsugaya Toshiro (Bleach)
  • Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (Bleach)
  • Katsuki Bakugo (My Hero Academia)

The highlight of these new additions is the final one, Katsuki Bakugo. He is one of the prime protagonists of My Hero Academia, and one of the more powerful characters in the series too. Judging from his appearance in the anime, we would expect some of his moves like Stun Grenade, Blast Rush Turbo, and AP Shot to be available in Jump Force. Of course, none of those would matter without his Grenadier Bracers, a massively explosive blast that’s powered by his own sweat.

As of now, there are no trailers or substantial details about how these characters will function. But one other character did get a trailer: All Might from My Hero Academia. As you might expect from his appearance, All Might is a heavy character, and deals damage from a distance with his patriotically-named ultimate attack, the United States of Smash.

All Might is available right now as an individual purchase or through the Jump Force character pass. The rest of the characters will be available at a date that’s currently unknown.
