International Museum Day is a quick and easy event, with prizes!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is coming off the May Day event with International Museum Day. This event lasts from the 18th of May until the 31st of May. In this short piece, we will help you understand everything that comes with this event and how to get through it!

How Does International Museum Day Begin?
The event will be made clear that it has begun once you boot up your island. Isabelle will say that International Museum Day has begun in her daily announcement monologue upon starting up the game. The event itself officially begins once you enter your museum and speak with Blathers. Upon speaking with Blathers he will give you a detailed explanation of the event and its history. Once Blathers’ description is over, the event will officially commence.
What Is There To Do?Â
The event consists of stamp stations being set up throughout your museum once you have finished speaking with Blathers. The player must go from exhibit to exhibit in each gallery section (bug, fossil or fish) and fill in the polling cards that are made available at the stamp stations in each gallery. The stamp stations consist of three stamps each to collect and fill-in. This means it will not take that long to complete.
Once the player has filled in all of the stamp sections at the stamp stations, of which there is nine total, the player can receive special rewards. Upon finishing the nine total stamp slots at the stamp stations speak to Blathers. Blathers will then reward you with three separate prizes for completing the stamp stations in each gallery exhibit.
Can The Event Be Repeated?Â
Yes, it can, unlike past events. However, there is not much reason to repeat the event. You will only receive duplicate prizes to what you had originally received on your first completion of the event. So, as said, this event is pretty short and nothing to really be up-in-arms about. It shouldn’t take you more than 15minutes to finish and obtain all three of the unique prizes.
If you have a friend who is going to miss the event for whatever reason, then it could always be a benefit to pick up the duplicate prizes for them in the following days by re-doing the event. Keep in mind, the location of each stamp station will change every day if you do choose to repeat the event in the following days.
To repeat, the event begins on the 18th of May 2020 and will be available until the 31st of May 2020. Next up for the events is wedding season, which starts on June 1st. Make sure to keep up to date for that on our website.
