Indie World Showcase Announced For August 18

Nintendo has just revealed that it will be broadcasting a new Indie World Showcase for tomorrow, August 18th.

The announcement appeared as a tweet made by the Indie World Twitter account, which states that we will see about 20 minutes of information on indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch. The presentation will take place at 9:00 AM PST/12:00 PM EST.

While we do not have specific details on what we will see during the showcase, it seems safe to say that no major first-party announcements will not make an appearance – consider the indie game focus. Previous Indie Word presentations have revealed new upcoming titles such as Sports Story and Cadence of Hyrule, along with ports of fan-favorites like Ori and the Blind Forest and Cuphead. However, previous broadcasts like the recent Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase have shown that the company might not have much to show.

Do you plan on watching the Indie World Showcase tomorrow? What do you think we will see any major reveals? Let us know in the comments!
