Death Stranding is Kojima’s first new game under Kojima Productions since his split with Konami. The game is going to be a PlayStation 4 console exclusive thanks to a partnership with Sony. The game features titular actors Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen, actresses Lea Seydoux and Lindsay Wagner, director Guillermo del Toro, and voice actor Troy Baker.
Not much else is known about the game, with Kojima only releasing tidbits of information alongside teasers and trailers. Just like the details released today.
Release Date Information?
The Kojima Productions tweet indicates the countdown for Death Stranding has begun, with new information being released on May 29th. Understandably, this led to lots of excitement and speculation for a new trailer, and hopefully, a release date. Whether we get any of that is unknown, but at the very least, we should get some crazy new details to scour over.

The Teaser Video?
The upcoming announcement is very much appreciated as the teaser video doesn’t really give much away. The strange video continues the hand symbolism (or obsession) with glimpses of unidentifiable objects adding to the intrigue of the whole thing. All ending with the weird tagline “Create the rope.”.

All in all, the new teaser is quite difficult to make sense of. Which is exactly what we’ve come to expect from Kojima and Death Stranding. So, forget creating the rope Kojima, and just give us the dang rope already!
