Remember when you could play your favorite Xbox 360 titles while listening to music from your hard drive? Those were some great times, and they may be coming back to an Xbox near you. Well, sort of!

There’s been a screenshot spotted that shows Microsoft’s Larry Hryb (aka Major Nelson) testing out the Spotify app on, you guessed it, the Xbox One.

We’ve known the Spotify app was on its way, but it seems we may have evidence that it may be coming soon. It’s been speculated that Microsoft has big plans to enhance the dashboard to accompany the release of their upcoming console: The Xbox One X. This may be one of many new apps being added to the Xbox experience.

Spotify debuted on consoles back on the PlayStation 3 and was also supported for the PlayStation 4. So it’s not a big surprise to see it come to the Xbox One. If anything, most would say that this is long overdue, and fans will be excited to play their favorite games, while listening to their personal playlist on the Spotify app.

What do you think about this app coming to Xbox? Are you excited to finally be able to join PlayStation owners and get to listen to your favorite Spotify playlists? Let us know in the comments below!
