FYI: Spider-Man, all those Marvel-ous Easter eggs

In PlayStation’s Spider-Man you can do whatever a spider can. The best-selling game is full of great action, has a blockbuster movie feel and loads of side missions which will keep you busy for months and months.

It is certainly in line for Game of the Year honours.

Hidden deep within the game though are a host of Easter eggs which are recognizable to die-hard comic book fans. Here is a handy list of things to look out for and some hints.

Avengers Tower

The headquarters of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cannot be missed. It is one of the tallest buildings in Upper East Side near Central Park.

The Wakandan embassy

Wakanda is the African homeland of Marvel’s Black Panther. Its New York embassy is located in the Midtown area, on 3rd Avenue, the building with the red and green flag on it.

Lockjaw

The canine member of the Inhumans is honoured as a statue taking the place of the Charging Bull on Wall Street.

Rand Enterprises

If the Rand building looks familiar to you, it should. It houses the company owned by Daniel Rand, otherwise known as Iron Fist.

Alias Investigations

In Hell’s Kitchen you can stumble across a detective agency named Alias Investigations. That is the office of Jessica Jones.

Nelson & Murdock

Also in Hell’s Kitchen you will find Daredevil’s law office which is right around the corner from Josie’s Bar and Fogwell’s Gym, all part of the Daredevil universe.

Roxxon Corporation

The oil business is a front for a world-wide criminal enterprise.

Damage Control

A big part of Spider-Man Homecoming, the Damage Control clean-up company is in the game.

Hook & Ladder 8 Firehouse, the headquarters of the Ghostbusters, has a ghost painted on the side of it. It can be found in the northwest section of the Financial District.

Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum

Located in Greenwich Village, this is Doctor Strange’s home.

Ben Parker’s Grave

You can pay your respects at Uncle Ben Parker’s grave. The churchyard where he is buried can be found in Harlem in the north corner of the district. Uncle Ben’s grave is behind the church there.
