With the current trend of game developers releasing trailers and reveals before E3 this year, it’s no surprise that Bethesda is hopping on this bandwagon. Although the DOOM: Eternal teaser promotes the Bethesda Showcase at the exposition, it also offers us a new look at the upcoming sequel. The 20-second teaser opens with a shot of a new location on what is quite possibly hell on earth. After that there is a second shot of what seems to be Phobos, and then a hologram of the antagonist Marauder. Lastly, there’s a scene with Marauder swinging a battle axe in a very cinematic shot. The trailer ends with a reveal of the Bethesda E3 Showcase, stating that it will be on June 9 at 5:30 pm PDT.

So far for the E3 showcase, Bethesda has only confirmed the appearance of DOOM: Eternal. It is unlikely that they will present any new IP that hasn’t been announced yet, and they have confirmed that The Elder Scrolls 6, and Starfield won’t be presented this year. So, what will they present? It is likely that Bethesda will update fans on their recently released titles, as well as their upcoming ones. This includes possible updates on Fallout 76, Rage 2, Wolfenstein Young Blood, and the previously mentioned DOOM: Eternal.
