The first Destiny 2 DLC will be titled “Curse of Osiris.” Originally leaked in late August, the downloadable content was thought to only be a rumor. Then, earlier today an Xbox store leaked details on the next DLC almost confirming the content. Finally, Bungie’s marketing director, Eric Osborne, provided the following statement via Twitter, “Curse of Osiris is not a leak. It’s real! :)”.
So far we know the DLC drop will take players to Mercury. Along with a new planet comes new missions, weapons and much more. This comes from the Xbox store leak earlier today. Below is the official description:
“Destiny 2 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris continues your Guardian’s journey with all-new story missions and adventures set in a new destination, Mercury. Journey through time and space to learn the secrets of Osiris, avert a dark future, and rebuild the ties between the legendary Warlock and his greatest student–Ikora Rey.”
A new raid has not confirmed, but the description does not go into detail. As far as we know, we can expect a good amount of content from the first drop. Until then, we can continue to grind for the best gear possible on Destiny 2.
