Everyone’s favorite spinning bandicoot is making a return with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, a new sequel to the original trilogy set to build on what made the platformers so beloved. While we currently only have official confirmation of a PS4 release, an interesting find on the game’s website may indicate a potential release on the Nintendo Switch
According to a tweet by user @SunwerPrower, some source code pulled from the It’s About Time site refers to the Nintendo Switch within the “PlatformLabel” section of the code. Going to the site and viewing the source code still shows as such as, with no corresponding listing for the Nintendo Switch on the actual page.

Crash Bandicoot 4 coming to the Nintendo Switch doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibility, given that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy saw its own release on the console a year after debuting on the PS4. No official confirmation for a Switch version of It’s About Time has been announced, so take all of this with a grain of salt.
The initial announcement for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time came in June shortly after a rating surfaced on the Taiwanese Ratings Board. Currently, the game will launch on PS4 and Xbox One on October 2nd , 2020.
