Resident Evil 2 just might be the best game of its series. Some might argue that it’s 4 or even the original, but there’s no denying the second game nailed its chilling setting and gripping story when it released way back in 1998. It’s one of the all-time greats of the gaming medium, which is why we and so many other people cannot wait for the remake coming in February. Capcom released a collection of ten screenshots for the new RE2 remake, alongside the playable demo that was livestreamed from a number of channels like IGN and GameSpot. To clarify, this is a total remake, not a remaster. That’s why the characters models and lighting look realistic, which, compared to the original, looks much nicer.
