Battlefield 1‘s next DLC, In the Name of The Tsar will release on September 19. If you own the season pass, you will receive the downloadable content two weeks early on September 5.
This DLC will be the biggest yet to hit the World War I front. It is composed of six new maps and a new faction. The Russian Army will bring new weapons and vehicles to the battlefield. Along with all of this additional content, comes a new game mode and cavalry options.
With the Russian Army coming, so is the historical Women’s Battalion of Death. This will be the first time in Battlefield history that players get to play as a woman in multiplayer.
Finally, with this update comes HDR support for PC and Xbox One S owners. This support will eventually help the Xbox One X as well, which beefs up the graphic quality on supported TVs.
At Gamescom last week, EA announced Battlefield 1 would be receiving an eSport mode known as Incursions. Testing for this game mode will start later this year in December so be sure to keep an eye out for that.
