There’s nothing like feeling accomplished after donating blood and getting that pint of ice cream afterward.
Bandai Namco wants to do its charitable fans one better. At this week’s TwitchCon, the game developer is teaming with the American Red Cross to offer a “promo blood kit” for their newest vampire-themed RPG title Code Vein.
While receiving a copy of the game certainly sounds amazing, there’s been no word on exactly what the “promo blood kit” is exactly.
The promotion seems to be doing well since the American Red Cross’s website show no open appointments. So, if you’re going to be at TwitchCon, you’ll have to keep an eye on the Red Cross stall and the Red Cross appointment page.
Exchanging a potential life-saving pint of blood for Code Vein certainly sounds like a great deal, despite how out it may seem. According to Red Cross statistics, more than 10 people need blood every 5 minutes.
With doctors able to separate blood into three parts (red cells, platelets, and plasma), you could potentially save up to 3 people. Doctors will be able to treat those in need of surgery or other serious medical conditions.
We will see the release of Code Vein on September 27th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
