Forza 7 Announces Fate of the Furious DLC

Forza

Universal Studios and Turn 10 Studios have come together to announce a new DLC pack for the upcoming Forza Motorsport 7, set to be released on the Xbox One and PC next month. The DLC is inspired by the latest installment in the long-running Fast & Furious franchise, The Fate of the Furious.

The DLC, which features ten vehicles inspired by Fate of the Furious, will be available for free to owners of the Ultimate and Deluxe editions of the game. On October 3rd, the DLC will be available to everyone else as a standalone purchase for $9.99.

Included among the ten vehicles are a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette, a 2018 Dodge Demon, and a 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S. The full lineup of vehicles can be seen in the official DLC trailer, posted below.

This isn’t the first time that Forza and Fast & Furious have teamed up either. In 2015 the two franchises collided in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, which was released to promote Furious 7.

Earlier this year, Fast & Furious also crossed over with another vehicle-based game, Psyonix’s Rocket League, when the Dodge Charger featured in Fate of the Furious was released for the game for $1.99. The addition was part of an ongoing collection of licensed film vehicles that includes the likes of Back to the Future’s DeLorean time machine and the Batmobile from Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Gamers who purchased the Ultimate Edition of Forza 7 will get access to the game on September 29th, while standard and deluxe owners will get access to the game on October 3rd.
